Traditionally, metal roofing sheets were placed on top of a stack. This is not particularly safe, as it puts people on the roof at risk of being swept off their feet or injured. It also increases the time required to complete a job, as a ladder is needed for each sheet. It also takes up a lot of space.
The best way to overcome this problem is to use automatic sheet stackers from our manufacturer and supplier. These sheets stacker machines are specially designed to allow the stacked sheets to be pushed up on top of each other without being cut into.
The sheets are stacked on a platform of the auto stacker roll forming that is supported by two base bars 17 and upright members 26. The base bars provide a strong and stable support for the stack of panels, while the upright members prevent the panels from sliding off the support system. The design of both these stackers ensures that there is minimal drop distance between the sheets, which is a critical factor in ensuring the stacked panels are of uniform thickness.
